Talking Pink: Panasonic’s Lumix DMC-LS80P
Panasonic has been making pink digicams for a while now. Their latest is the Lumix DMC-LS80P with a 8.1 Megapixel CCD, 3 X Optical Zoom, and MEGA Optical Image Stabilization.
Aimed for those that want to take great pics without all the drama of choosing the right settings, the Lumix boosts an intelligent mode that gets every picture right the first time around.
ISO Settings range from 100 to 1600, it also has scene modes, white balance controls, a 2.5 LCD screen, and it has a Leica Lens. But overall its features are pretty standard with point and shoot digital cameras these days. Interestingly, the camera runs on AA batteries which is convenient if you’re on the road and don’t have a place to charge your battery, but most folk will probably prefer a rechargeable battery. Regardless the Panasonic Lumix could potentially be a great beginner camera or for novices if it’s priced right.
