Yamaha BF-1 BodiBeat plays songs to match your tempo

Yamaha BF-1 This two-part 512MB MP3 player ‘intelligently’ selects and plays songs with a beat that matches your workout tempo. Yep, it’s got an accelerometer inside which monitors the speed of your motion so it can serve up some choice synchronistically funkadelic tracks.

There’s literally a gazillion custom settings you can use to make sure it works like you want, and the BodiBeat Station software categorises your music collection so it can be loaded and used. Dude, is there a heart attack button? Around $300.00.

While one of the exercise modes is active and the pulse sensor is properly attached, this flashes in time with your heart rate. If your heart rate is fast (or the exercise intensity is too strenuous (i.e. the HRR is more than 75%), the LED flashes in red. When your exercise pace is optimal (HRR is between 55% and 75%), the LED flashes in green. If your heart rate is slow (the exercise intensity is low (i.e., the HRR is lower than 55%, or you are not exercising), the LED flashes in blue.
