Vodafone’s branded satellite navigation solution
Following its success in the business market, Vodafone Sat Nav, powered by Telmap is being launched to the consumer market. Featuring 3D maps, in-car and pedestrian navigation, up-to-date maps, live traffic alerts, along with millions of points-of-interest, the service will be available for £5 per month, with the first month free − although when using the service data charges will apply.
Vodafone Sat Nav will initially be available on the Nokia N95, Nokia N95 8GB, Nokia 6110 Navigator as well as the new BlackBerry Pearl 8110. What’s more, customers who purchase the BlackBerry Pearl 8110 will get 12 months of the service for free.
