Samsung Steel 3 megapixel slider phone to be Vodafone exclusive
Samsung develops slimline 3 megapixel slider phone especially for Vodafone
The Samsung Steel is Samsung’s first Vodafone exclusive slider since the popular U700v and, as the name would suggest, the Steel is a metallic slider with a steel-like finish which gives it a robust look and feel.
Samsung says the handset is ‘made from the highest quality materials’, and we’ll have to trust them on that for now, but we do know that the phone features a 3 megapixel camera and a 2.2ins 262k TFT display and HSDPA data speeds for rapid internet browsing.
Other features on board the Samsung Steel include conference calling, video calling, a document viewer and DAB radio. Samsung says the handset will launch in the UK in June 2008
