The ASUS Eee PC heralds a new era in laptop computing. Ultra-portable and lightweight, it uses solid-state media instead of a hard drive with moving parts to make it more robust and more power efficient.
It has built in Wi-Fi to get online, and comes pre-installed with an email client, web browser and instant messaging client to keep you connected.
Along with these Internet apps, there is a range of productivity applications pre-installed with the Linux operating system. Note that this is not a Windows PC, although there are ways of installing Windows XP, should you wish to purchase a copy separately.
It’s a fantastic piece of kit and is getting rave reviews across the media.
